We called them out for our condenser shutting off and they sent one of their criminal technicians to our home. My mother was home and she showed the tech to the back condenser so he could get started. She went back into her office and he was supposed to come get her when he was finished up outside. About 10-15 minutes go by and she hears someone upstairs. She walks up to check it out and the tech is walking out of her bedroom. She asked him what he was doing up there and he said he was trying to find the attic access. He never once asked about needing access and took it upon himself to go snooping around looking for it. It was also on the other side of the house. Fast forward to the next day after the condenser was fixed my mother was getting ready for the day in her bathroom and she looked down and her jewelry box with her new wedding ring and some priceless jewelry passed down from her mother was all gone. They’ve been in the house for 15 years and it’s always been in the same exact spot the entire time. The technician stole it and is a thief. When she and my father called the company the owner was very vulgar and used foul language while expressing that his technician “would never” do that. He proceeded to hang up on my parents and tell them he wasn’t reimbursing them for anything and he didn’t believe them. We filed a police report and unfortunately they can’t prove that he stole it. There’s no doubt in our minds that he did and unfortunately those sentimental possessions will be lost forever. I highly recommend you do not use this company as they cannot be trusted in your home. When we filed the report with Clovis PD they also pulled up a mug shot of the technician from his time in jail. We confirmed that it was him and felt so upset that these are the kinda of people this company is allowing in peoples homes. They still had us wait two weeks for a technician to come out and double-check to confirm that it was a Freon leak (which it was). This is understandable, they have to do what they have to do. Then they gave us a time frame about a week out for it to be fixed, but called us the morning of to tell us that they had ordered the wrong part and we needed to wait another week. Today, they were supposed to arrive at 8am to finally repair it and a technician showed up asking to look at our unit so he could diagnose the problem. We let him know that Comfort Pro already sent out technicians to diagnose and that he was supposed to be fixing it today. He told us he didn’t even know how to fix a Freon leak and that his other technician called out. He just showed up without even knowing how to do the job I guess. So we called to clarify what was going on, and the lady on the phone was very clearly having a hard morning because two technicians called out. I let her know we’ve been waiting a month for this to be solved, our house has been 85 degrees, and we have a small baby (and babies cannot regulate their body temp so we need our house to be cool). She was not compassionate at all and pretty much told me that “20 other people are having the same problem.” I’m not expecting our AC to be fixed any time soon and I’ve had to start staying at my mom’s house to make sure my baby is cool. Comfort Pro has not been kind or understanding, and they have not upheld communication with us to tell us what’s going on. Even as I write this, they still have not rescheduled our service. It’ll be winter by the time this thing gets fixed.
